1) According to Chris, 4 million people are expected to descend on Washington D.C. for the innauguration. 4 MILLION! Keep in mind that D.C.'s population is only about 500,000, or about a million if you count the suburbs. Also, D.C.'s population is about 90% African-American, the only city of that size in the U.S. that has that statistic. Can you imagine the joy?
2) I'm musing over the unfortunate fact that strong, independent women are attracted to strong, independent men. Especially artistic ones. It would be so much easier if we liked guys who hang around the house and do laundry. Instead we get involved in semi-competetive relationships with people who are too busy with their careers or artistic pursuits to really invest (just like us). I constantly fear that my relationships will squelch the best of me. But, ya know, ya need to get laid.
3)I still long for some career satisfaction.
4) I can almost play "Folsom Prison" on the guitar.
